The Millionaire Meme Script

The script, line by line

This is the version our generator performs. The asker is glum and impatient from the start, which makes the reply land harder.

Beat 1, the ask (about 0–4 s)

You (into the phone, flat and tired): "Hey ChatGPT, make me rich. How do I become a millionaire?"

Beat 2, the reply (about 4–6 s)

AI voice (from the phone, completely deadpan): "Get a job."

Beat 3, the reaction (about 6–12 s)

You (frown deepens, getting angry): "Get a job?! Bro, I asked you how to get rich!"

Timings are approximate; what matters is the order and the pause before the reaction.

Delivery notes

• Hold the phone like a walkie-talkie, close to your mouth. It reads instantly as "talking to the AI".
• Keep the reply short and flat. Any emotion in "Get a job." kills the joke. Think of a bored customer-service voice.
• Leave a half-second of silence after the reply. The stare is the punchline as much as the words.
• Show the anger through your face and tone, not volume. Shouting into a phone mic clips and sounds worse.

Variations on the script

The three-beat structure stays, but you can swap the lines:

• The deadline version: "How do I become a millionaire in 30 days?" "Get a job."
• The pet version: the question is captioned while your dog stares at the phone, and the reply plays out loud.
• The overachiever version: "I already have a job. How do I become a millionaire?" "Get a second job."
• The parent version: a parent asks, and the caption reads "Finally, someone said it back to them."
